K'ai is an adult male bald eagle known for frequenting establishments in Low Town, including the Musky Murre. He's rumored to be a member of the Tacet Carceris, Volatus' revered secret guard, shrouded in mystery. As a result of this rumor, birds with problems sometimes bend his auriculars in the hope he can help.

So used to seeing these at the tops of trees. This is the first one I've seen on the ground.
