@otchakun The first attack seems to lack any buildup. The spin seems to throw the sword first, then the girl, ideally it should be the opposite, the sword "waits" for the girl's spin before "catching up", so her body should spin first and the arms slightly later
For the Up-down swing, you'll want 2 mid-frame poses with the arms fully stretched forward: right as the downward swing begins and just before the sword touches the ground.
@papel Ohhh thanks for the tips!
Idk if I can add much buildup for the first attack without making her feel too slow (this is supposed to be the light attack combo). Maybe I can move her body first like you suggested for the spin, so it looks like she's struggling more, but without making the total animation take much longer?
For the rest, totally agree! I'll try to make those changes soon. Tho first I'll probably just show the other attacks as I finish animating them.
@otchakun On the first attack, you can add a bit of buildup by "stealing" frames from the attack proper, which might actually make the attack "look" stronger, since the slash proper will happen faster.
Say it's currently 15 frames, so you pick 7 frames for buildup and crunch the existing animation in the other 8.
@papel Sounds like it'd work! Noted! ;)
@otchakun heheh nice work
@wolfsaif90 Thanks >.<
Still got a lot to improve but I'm learning!
