Carson Mansion

This home was commissioned by William Carson, one of California's first lumber barons. Building started in 1883 and took over 100 men more than two years to complete the home.
It is said that this home was the inspiration for the house used in the Munsters TV show.

Carson Mansion This is an image of the Carson Mansion located in Eureka, California. In the foreground is the well manicured lawn with a circular driveway leading up to the building. A row of manicured shrubs protect the porch that wraps all the way around the visable part of the home. The homes exterior colors are well complimentary, from yellow and green and a red tile roof. The home as at least 4 stories and multiple gables. There is a slight fog starting to move in from the coast as night starts to close in.
