Do you want just to print or to design and print? I noticed that you guys don't want to print actual guns, so only accessories will do, right?

Here are some ideas that I was collecting.

- A stubby monopod. Like VFG but not quite. You have to find the platform that you want, and you have to design it so it's tough and rugged. That is pretty challenging, but can be fun.

- A G48 magwell for Ruger PC

- A bayonet adapter for Ruger PC, Ruger LC, or Henry. This also requires significant strength, but also must be heat resistant. A challenging project for someone switching to high-temp printing.

- A dependable compatible attachment for Pic-2-Pic for your gun of choice.

- A lower for S&W M&P FPC that accepts Glock or P365 magazines. This is challenging due to its large size. But if people make printed MP5s, surely this is within reach.

- An ejection port cover for Cx4 for shooting suppressed. The trick is to find the attachment method. No hose clamps please. I can allow metal zip-ties, but that only earns you a C.

- Dual-stack magazine for Tikka. That is dimensionally challenging and requires a component reuse from possibly a Rem 700. Time to be clever.

- Pneumatic buffers for blowback PCCs. The basic idea is simple, but trying to print something that lasts more than 1,000 rounds is going to challenge you in a good way.

- An adapter for 1911 magazines in AR45 or AR9 in the style of Blind Squirrel. Try to come with a better method than their screws. Learn about one-piece printed plastic springs and properties of the materials. I recommend ABS!

- A repro clip for Gewehr 88. The trick is to find space where to place the extra material without impeding the action. Feel like a Magpul designer who created a plastic AR-15 mag with thick lips.

Industry Outsider · Rail Mount Adjustable Monopod from TSW - Industry OutsiderThe TSW (The Secret Weapon) Rail Mount Adjustable Monopod is an easy way to improve the accuracy of your rifle at an affordable price point.
There is a lot of intuitive understanding of how the gun actions work floating around that is simply wrong. And a lot of it has to do with human everyday common sense being unable to grasp a scale greater than 1 hundred. You must trust the math in order to operate in this area of gun design.

My favourite example is how many people assume that the recoil spring does anything in a blowback action aside from pushing the bolt into battery. But I made calculations for some common guns (such as AR9), and it never delivers more than 1% of the force resisting the bolt thrust when firing, and less than 0.2% for larger calibers like 10mm. The whole work of keeping the breech closed is done by the mass of the bolt. Spring does absolutely nothing!

Some of the blowback actions, such as Astra 600, have heavy recoil springs. But they only do that in order to improve the longevity of the gun.

P.S. I did not look into the numbers for the Oerlikon 20mm. I don't have the data or the time. Yes, its recoil spring is crazy strong, enough to require a pulley to charge. Even so, it may yet fall under the 1% - this is how great the bolt thrust of 20mm cartridge is.
