Updated En pics! Bust has been toned down deliciously. Her dress is not as girly now. All steps in the right direction for our favorite elf, En.

@zuitl I really like the changes to her body. It almost looks like a boy.
But it's still feminine enough to recognize her as a women, even if there was no face.

I don't really mind the dress, I think, both are fine. We might consider having multiple outfits in the long term.

@p11
I'm pleased with the changes for the reasons you mentioned.

The earlier version of the dress had some decorations across the chest area, and was a bit too girly. This new variant is more unisex, in a Star Trek formal-dress-suit kind of way. If En needs more cloths there's no need to stick with even the same basic style. I want to be creative with outfits, too, like my muse Range Murata.

Thank you for saying so! That's exactly the look I was going for! There was zero changes to En's body outlines -- just a strong attack on my earlier dark shading under her small boobs. Such a small change for such an visually pleasing improvement!

(thinking out loud now)
Does Baraag have a quote function? I added the > above, and you can barely tell I'm quoting p11.

@zuitl I don't know.
I started using ">" because it works on gitlab and tox.

But I think, it's obvious, since it's an answer to my post, which even contains this text.

@p11
Anyway, I wanted to add that as an artist I try to keep my ego in check. When I first shared my images of En you mentioned that the boobs might be a bit too pronounced, and far from being offended, and leaving the interwebs in a self-righteous huff, I immediately thought, "He's absolutely right! I've GOT to fix that! We have the technology (paint program and Wacom tablet), so we can 'build a better elf.'"

@zuitl Why does she have slightly different hair in all pictures?

@p11
Because she's a girl, and while we're not looking she plays with it a bit with her fingers. Twirls it a bit without even thinking about it.

@zuitl Oh, makes sense.
I don't think, others care about such little details.

Also some case, where it would make sense to separate the hair and the rest of her, so the hair doesn't always need to look the same, when she wears the same clothes.

@p11
Girls usually do not have "helmet hair". Look at one long enough and their hair is very dynamic. I was hinting at that even here.

@zuitl
> I don't think, others care about such little details.

That's not really what I wanted to say.

I think, people who notice it will like these little details.
I don't think, other developers care about it.
