Purism announces partnership with SLNT to add security, privacy, and protection to mobile devices.
@purism Stay strong: Desperate governments worldwide want to downright criminalize #privacy and #encryption now, using laughable pretexts like #cybersecurity causing #childabuse to literally put everyone on the planet under a permanent wiretapping mandate like we're common criminals by default.
Smartphones are especially susceptible to surveillance, and among those devices we have the least control over instead of corporations merely renting them to us: It's time for that to change!
@roland I know what you mean but in this case, isn't puri.sm their own domain anyway? It's an universal fact of the internet that any server you connect to needs to know your IP address so the data may be sent to you: Best you can do is making sure group X doesn't see when / how / where / why / etc you connect to the servers of group Y, if both groups belong to the same people they will see it anyway.
